Lauren Ash Morgan is co-founder and artistic director of Speech of Fire, a new theatre company. From 2014 through her appointment in 2019, she was artistic director of Seoul Shakespeare Company. As SSC's Artistic Directors, Ash-Morgan was also in the roles as producer costumes/set designers, composers/music directors and text coaches. While she was usually the leader of the acting ensemble at the end of her time, she made her first appearance as an actor (and lighting designer) with SSC's King Lear.
